Driving Impact Through Strategic Grant Consulting

Hello, I’m Nichole Albanese, MPA, GPC – a New York City-based grant consultant with clients nationwide and the founder of Funding in Reach, LLC. I’m passionate about helping mission-driven organizations secure the funding to build stronger, healthier communities.

For over 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of partnering with nonprofits in healthcare, education, behavioral health, technology, and economic development—helping them achieve real, lasting impact.

My journey into grant consulting was intentional and driven by purpose. After serving as a Director of Development for several impactful organizations, I experienced firsthand the transformative power of strategic funding—and saw even greater growth potential when the right resources were in place.

I chose to pursue grant consulting to apply my skills to support organizations while maintaining balance in my life. This path allows me to champion causes I believe in and help nonprofits secure the resources they need to thrive.

Since founding Funding in Reach, I’ve worked with diverse organizations—from health centers and higher education institutions to homeless shelters and mental health services—securing over $80 million in funding that has transformed communities.

I’m proud to be a Grant Professional Certified (GPC) consultant (less than 500 of us) and a former New York City Grant Professionals Association Chapter President. Staying connected to my peers and upholding the highest standards in our field is something I deeply value.

My goal is simple: To empower organizations to build sustainable, impactful programs by unlocking funding opportunities. If you’re ready to secure the resources your organization needs to grow, let’s connect. Together, we can turn your vision into a funded reality.

At Funding in Reach, we help build healthier communities, drive economic growth, and improve lives through strategic grant funding solutions.
